Join the AccountAbility Sustainability Lab Fellowship to gain practical experience in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy—exploring the dynamic intersection of sustainability and economics.
This prestigious yearlong Career Catalyst, offered in partnership with AccountAbility and the Colin Powell School, equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate complex challenges in sustainable development and responsible business practices. Participants will engage with industry experts, develop strategic frameworks for ethical leadership, and apply economic analysis to real-world ESG issues.

This course will introduce students to the world of professional services in collaboration with Accenture, a leading global professional services company that helps the world’s leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services—creating tangible value at speed and scale.
Delivered as a hybrid learning experience, the CCNY Career Catalyst Program is comprised of self-study, in-person learning, and personalized coaching sessions with a dedicated mentor. Students will have the opportunity to explore curated resources on essential professional development topics, practice their skills, apply their learnings, and discuss the building blocks of consulting with their mentor. The program will culminate with an in-person Capstone presentation. This course is intended to help students be prepared for the professional services summer internship application process.

In collaboration with Moody’s Corporation, a global integrated risk assessment company, this program introduces students, or Moody’s Fellows, to the variety of social science-focused subject matters and roles within Corporate America.
The hybrid course combines self-study, in-person learning, and mentorship on topics like community impact, sustainability, and government relations. Students will also explore Moody’s mission, values, and how corporate and government affairs integrate into its operations.
This program is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors from all majors, with a special focus on Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, and Journalism students. Participants who complete the course will receive a $2,500 academic stipend and gain insights from mentorship meetings, professional development workshops, and leadership-building exercises led by Moody’s professionals.
